Wednesday, March 17Preventing Teen Suicide

RAYMOND – On Wednesday, March 17 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the public is invited to the Raymond Theatre for an evening to ask questions, gain knowledge, and challenge taboos about teen suicide. Additional questions to be addressed include: Do teens really want to die or is this just a cry for help? How do I talk with my child about this recent suicide? What should I do if I notice unusual behaviors in my child? Sue Eastgard, executive director of the Youth Suicide Prevention Program, will teach the class. Eastgard has extensive experience as a mental health clinician and prevention specialist. Help build a stronger safety net for the youth and families of our community by attending.
