Obituary: Janet Helen Morrison (Nott)

Janet Helen Morrison (Nott), passed away on March 19, 2024, in Tacoma, Washington, at the age of 86. She was born on Dec. 7, 1937, in Seaview, Washington.

Janet was an Elementary School teacher in the Ocean Beach School District. She was known for her passion for teaching and positively impacting the lives of her students. She volunteered at the Columbia Heritage Museum and was a devoted member of the Presbyterian Church. Janet found joy in baking and crafting. She loved celebrating the holidays with her family, creating cherished memories with her loved ones.

She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Morrison, her sons Kenton (Theresa) and Kevin (Linea), her grandchildren Nicholas (Tippy), Chance, and Rilee, and her great-grandson Ashley. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Cooper.

A Memorial Celebration of Life Reception will be held on May 4, from 1-3 p.m. at the Peninsula Church Center in Long Beach, Washington.

Janet will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
