SOUTH BEND — The following case saw significant progress during the criminal docket of the Pacific County Superior Court on April 12, 2024:

John F. N. Connery, 34 — He was arrested on Nov. 19, 2023, by officers from the Raymond and South Bend police departments after allegedly stalking a woman. He was previously trespassed from the woman’s workplace and was reportedly caught on camera and observed by her co-workers.
According to court records, Connery was charged with felony stalking and pleaded not guilty while representing himself during an arraignment hearing on Dec. 1, 2023. He also noted he was seeking legal counsel and has since been represented by Nathan Needham of Needham Glenn Law.
Needham reached an agreement on the case, and Connery is scheduled to enter a change of plea and be sentenced on April 19. Since his arrest, Connery has been held in jail on $10,000 bail.
