Long Beach Police Department
Feb. 15 — Traffic violation: A white Nissan hatchback has a wrecked tire, and a damaged front bumper. The caller said it’s heading toward the Long Beach area.
Structure fire: Two callers heard an explosion. A motor home is on fire, and there are flames. People are trying to put it out. It’s unknown if anyone is inside.
Hit and run: Caller witnessed a vehicle back into another vehicle in a parking lot, and leave. The car that was hit was a Kia Scion with an Oregon plate. The vehicle that backed into it and headed east about 10 minutes ago was a Ford with an oversized load on top.
Welfare check: A male subject is coughing and bent over, and on a cell phone. He’s wearing a green hoodie and jeans. The caller is leaving the scene. The subject is on the Washington Avenue side of the parking lot, next to a Fat Tire bicycle.
Unconscious person: Caller’s client is not answering the door. The subject is not responsive, and not moving. The door is locked. The client looks pale, and the caller doesn’t have a way to make an entrance. The caller was transferred to Medix.
Feb. 16 — Mental subject: Caller said he is a patient at the hospital. He said he can hear voices, and is in the hospital for this reason. He would like an officer there. He said he did let the nurses know. He’s not sure if the voices are in his head, or if they are real, this time.
Feb. 18 — Suspicious person: A burgundy red Toyota Corolla is parked in an empty lot. It showed up after 9 a.m. The workers across the street called to ask whose vehicle it is. There’s no one around it, and a coat and lunchpail are in the back seat.
Feb. 19 — A male subject is laying down on the sidewalk on the west side of the highway, possibly sleeping, but the caller is not sure. The subject is wearing a green sweater and blue jeans.
Welfare check: A small child is wandering around, and running in the street. The caller almost ran the child over. Someone who isn’t the parent showed up to get the child. The child’s mother’s sister and grandmother are walking toward the caller, and an officer is there now.
Citizen assist: Caller owns a 1958 Chevy, and it looks like it’s been tampered with. The caller would like to speak to an officer.
Feb. 20 — Civil dispute: The sheriff served an eviction notice yesterday to a subject in one of the spaces, and the subject is still there. They were supposed to be out by 1 p.m. yesterday.
A Ford F-150 backed into a RAV4, and the driver would like to make a report. It’s in the back of the motel parking lot. There are no injuries.
Welfare check: A male subject with a Washington plate is outside the caller’s residence. The subject, who is in a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee, is convinced the caller has his wife’s van. The caller thinks the subject has dementia, as he has repeated the same conversation three times.
Feb. 21 — Suspicious person: Caller said it sounded like someone hit, or tried to kick in, their door. The door was locked, and is now open. This happened less than 5 minutes ago. The caller phoned the hotel management, and was told they checked the cameras and no one was there. The caller said their door got opened, and it should have been visible on the camera.
Welfare check: There’s a grayish-green Toyota that has been parked in the same area for 20 hours. The female subject’s head is nodded down. The caller said when the subject first got there, the car’s windshield wipers and lights were on. She is still there, parked horizontally in a vertical parking spot. She has a ponytail, and medium brown hair.
Pacific County Sheriff’s Office
Feb. 15 — A male subject is sitting along the side of the road in a wheelchair, “nodded out.” The caller didn’t stop to check, they were just driving by. The subject was last seen wearing a blue or dark-colored jacket. An officer checked, and the subject was no longer in the area.
Transferred to Washington State Patrol: Caller’s son threw a stick off a cliff. The dog chased it and went off the cliff.
Traffic violation: A teenager was driving a red and black dirt bike, speeding at l00 mph-plus. The caller said he was last seen heading toward the gravel at the end of the roadway toward State Route 6, about 5 minutes ago. This is an ongoing issue.
It looks like something is on fire, about 2 or 3 miles out. The caller sees a straight line of smoke going up about 200 feet, and could see a red glow. The Coast Guard was advised.
A disorderly male is yelling at vehicles.
Threats: A female subject wearing dark clothing is out in the street yelling and threatening her husband. The caller doesn’t know what she’s saying, or if there are weapons, but believes the subject is probably on something. The parties are separated, and the subject is asking if the caller and the caller’s husband have killed anyone. The subject is pointing a flashlight, possibly on their phone, at the caller’s house.
Animal noise: Caller requested contact from an officer, but said it was not an emergency. Dogs have been barking for 2 to 3 hours, and the caller is trying to have a bonfire with the kids. The owner of the dogs has a previous history of yelling at the caller about his dogs being able to do whatever he wants. The dog owner is also squatting on the property.
Agency assistance: An Aberdeen officer is asking for a deputy to go out and see how long a male subject has been gone. Aberdeen has a probable cause for him for failure to register.
Agency assistance: Caller’s boyfriend is off his meds. He is bipolar and not in reality, and she would like him to get taken to a facility in Olympia to get checked out, then asked if he could be taken to Aberdeen.
Feb. 16 — There are two parents who are abusing their three children, and also trying to abuse the caller. This has been ongoing since Jan.3. The mom and dad are saying lewd comments and trying to have their kids repeat them out loud. This happened this morning around 7 a.m.
Caller’s son is suicidal, and driving a silver Subaru. It’s unknown if he’s still at the house. When the caller left, he was talking to himself and out of his mind. He has a history of mental health problems and meth use, but the caller doesn’t know if he’s doing drugs now. There are no weapons that the caller is aware of. It’s unknown if the son has any plans. The caller doesn’t feel safe at home.
Citizen assist: Caller would like to talk to a deputy about storing someone’s property, and how long she needs to keep it.
Animal problem: Caller requests contact from an officer. The neighbor’s little dog is outside all the time, and has had no shelter for one to two months. The caller offered to build a shelter, but there was no response.
A black Ford Explorer was on the caller’s property. She thinks it was an officer, and she would like to know why they drove down a private road, and turned around in her field without telling her. She said it happened about 2:10 p.m. today.
Criminal trespass: In the back yard, a tent is set up. The caller said a male subject is down checking on his property. He’s in a parking lot, and he has an electric Volkswagen.
Citizen assist: Caller requested contact with an officer. His father’s shotguns were legally removed last week. The caller has heard that his father possibly has a gun that nobody knew about.
Traffic stop: An officer stopped a tiny car, that probably isn’t a real car, with one person inside.
Feb. 17 — Welfare check: The neighbor’s septic alarm has been going off for two days. The caller sees cars in their driveway, but no one is answering the door. The caller doesn’t know who lives there, but would like a check on them, as the alarm goes off frequently.
Suspicious person: A male subject, who is parked alongside the road in a small, brown older SUV, is walking toward the water with possibly an AR15. It’s a long black firearm with a large magazine for bullets. He’s possibly hunting ducks or other animals in the area.
Welfare check: A male subject has not been checking his mail, it’s been piling up, and there are late notices on the door. The caller said there is a business card from a deputy left outside of a gate. The caller doesn’t need to be contacted, but thinks someone needs to do a physical check on the subject.
Litter/pollution/public health: Caller requested a phone contact. Last week, someone did an illegal dump of random household trash, including old mail. The name is still on the mail.
Violation of court order: Caller has an order against their mother, who sent her a text and a photo. She’s not supposed to contact the caller.
Missing person: A male subject left for a 2-hour drive 5 hours ago in a silver Kia minivan. He has his daughter’s cell phone with him, but the caller said she doesn’t think he knows how to answer it.
Civil dispute: Caller has all of his stuff at a house, and the homeowners won’t let him take his stuff. They told him he has to wait till they get back from Vancouver or Portland. The caller is at the house right now. The homeowners told him they will give him his stuff in the morning.
Feb. 18 — Transferred to Washington State Patrol: At mile post 15 on U.S. Highway 101, a silver Dodge is in the southbound ditch. The roads are icy. The vehicle has tinted windows, and the caller can’t see inside, but it doesn’t seem like anyone is inside. The passenger airbag was deployed. It’s unknown if the driver is in the vehicle.
Vicious animal: A blue and tan pitbull is following/tracking the caller when she’s walking in a certain area, and is running loose there. This has occurred twice. She doesn’t know who the owner is.
A male subject asked the caller if anyone was selling crystal meth. His goatee and hair are gray, and he was last seen wearing a gray sweater. He’s driving a Honda SUV and headed toward Ocean Park. This occurred 10 minutes ago.
Domestic violence: Yesterday there was a domestic situation with the caller’s granddaughter and her father. It’s an ongoing issue. He took off his clothes and went after her. The caller and the granddaughters are at the address, and he is now at another location. The caller has to leave at 1 p.m.
Vandalism: Last night a man with red hair and red beard was stomping on the caller’s flower planter and broke it. The caller doesn’t know the man’s name, but the incident is on camera.
Abandoned vehicle: About an hour ago, a white pickup dropped off a trailer next to the trailer that was reported yesterday. The truck headed east, but after that, the caller has no idea in which direction it went.
A Level 2 sex offender (Schedule A) is registered in one area, but is not registered in the area where he is currently living. He has a trailer he is moving from place to place, and he is currently living within a mile of a school in Ocean Park.
A car plowed through the wall of a garage, but the caller didn’t give an address or vehicle description.
Domestic violence: A male subject was evicted from the home, and is supposed to be out today. He wants another day, and they told him no, and he is yelling and screaming. He’s not being physical, and has no weapons, but he keeps telling the caller to “go f*ck herself.” Dispatch can hear yelling in the background.
Shots fired: Caller can hear a lot of shooting in the area, and it’s been going on tonight for the last 30 minutes. It sounds like a rapid/high powered rifle. The caller has been told that cops do sometimes practice at the rock pit. The caller is concerned about all the shooting, and wants to know if it is officers, or if it’s illegal.
Accident: Caller advised that an individual came out of a ditch from a vehicle. He said he was OK, and advised he doesn’t need aid, but is unsure if he needs a tow or a police officer.
Caller received a text from a neighbor that she has been hearing someone yelling for about 15 minutes. The caller thinks it sounds like an animal, and that it’s coming from in front of her house. The caller would like to be contacted.
Feb. 19 — Caller reported a “suspicious” white Chevy truck with foggy windows. It has been parked near his home overnight, and it’s an ongoing issue. The truck shows up once a week, and the caller has seen a female subject getting in and out of the vehicle previously. The caller does not need to be contacted, but does want the subject to stop parking there.
Transferred to Washington State Patrol: Caller is following a possible driver who is under the influence. It’s a brownish-gray Honda CRV going side to side in the lane.
Welfare check: Caller wants a check on a subject. The caller tried to deliver a meal on Tuesday and today, and nobody is answering, but the lights are on. The subject, who has dementia, lives in a blue two-story house.
Transferred to Washington State Patrol: A sedan is pulled to the side of the road with a female subject and two kids standing on the road’s shoulder. The caller said they are partially blocking the roadway, and it’s not a good area of road.
Criminal trespass: A white male subject wearing a dark green coat and jeans, is now walking north on Pacific Way. The subject has been trespassed before, and was back on the property asking people for money. An officer noted that the subject panhandles in the parking lot, and left when asked to by store employees. The officer was unable to locate the subject.
Scam: Caller received calls saying it was the Long Beach Police Department threatening to arrest her if she didn’t send money. The caller has sent a total of $8,500 on a bitcoin machine, and is currently at Walmart to send more money. The caller was told not to send any more money until she hears from a deputy.
Feb. 20 — Yesterday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. the caller could see some homeless activity at the restrooms in a county park. Southwest of the restroom, a gate was seen open, and on the east side of the restroom building there was also some “waste” laying around.
Welfare check: Caller wanted a check on a male subject. He recently had surgery, and the caller has not heard from him since Feb. 12. The subject was supposed to pick up a prescription on Feb. 17, and did not show up. The caller wants to be contacted after the welfare check.
Welfare check: A subject’s car hasn’t moved since before Christmas, and the mailbox is super full, and the subject won’t answer the door. The subject has a history of mental problems, and lives alone in a very small house with a green Range Rover with the window down n the driveway.
Agency assistance: Caller doesn’t feel safe going to a client’s house, and would like deputy assistance. The caller will be in a white Ford Escape, and will be available by phone.
Welfare check: Caller wanted to check up on their father. They talked to him this morning, and he was complaining of stomach pain and swollen feet. The caller doesn’t think he will be combative with aid. The father has a green Toyota Tacoma pickup with a canopy on the back, and a white Ford Econoline van. It’s a tan-colored house, and there’s a dog inside.
Welfare check: An elderly Asian female is sitting on blocks in front of the water station. She’s wearing a coat and has two bags.
A dump truck is dropping limbs all over the road. The caller said it was headed north.
Citizen assist: Caller’s uncle passed away and owned property there. They were given permission to come down tomorrow and get their trailer from the property. The executor of the property has given permission to come down before, but she has also revoked their permission in the past. The caller plans to go around 9 or 10 tomorrow.
Citizen assist: Caller has a bank account in Ocean Park, and the bank account has been gotten into four times, and all of the money has been taken. The caller went to the bank and tried to put her money into a different account but the teller wouldn’t let her. She tried to call higher up in the bank, and couldn’t get any help, and $1,000 has been taken.
Burglary: Someone broke into a storage locker. This occurred on Jan. 21, and today, the caller was in the process of auctioning the locker, and went to take a picture of the contents. Stuff is missing, so the caller went to a subject’s residence, and the missing items are in the subject’s yard. The subject lives behind a golf course in a yellow house. The yard is full of trailers and cars.
Welfare check: A female subject has been screaming a lot for the last hour. She’s screaming obscenities at no one, but might have a phone the caller can’t see. The subject is slightly heavy- set, and wearing a tan jacket/parka with a hood and jeans. She has been ducking into the bushes and hiding, then popping out every so often.
Caller almost hit someone on an e-bike or dirt bike. They sped in front of him. The caller heard them riding around the neighborhood speeding, with no lights on.
Feb. 21 — Caller can hear a diesel truck at her neighbor’s property behind her house. They heard the truck hooking up to a trailer, possibly stealing it. It’s too dark to see anyone or get a description of the vehicle.
A few weeks ago, the caller’s neighbor passed away. The caller saw someone looking into one of the neighbor’s vehicles with a flashlight. The caller confronted him, and the subject took off on a bike towards Highway 6, but was not sure which way he went. The white male subject was last seen wearing a blue or black beanie, a brown or black shirt and blue jeans.
Transferred to Washington State Patrol: A young white male with dark hair and dark clothing was standing on the Megler bridge looking at the water. It’s unknown if they had any weapons. The caller was transferred in from Astoria.
Civil dispute: The caller’s mother is saying the caller won’t be able to come back home, and the door will be locked. The caller is available by phone.
Civil dispute: Caller is supposed to pick up a trailer from a deceased relative’s property. When the caller arrived, items were missing from the trailer, including a battery, gazebo and deck. The property executor told the caller the items blew away in a storm. The caller is waiting at the location for an officer.
Civil dispute: Caller’s daughter came home, but the caller doesn’t want her living there. The daughter keeps taking her father’s “side,” and is very disrespectful to the caller. She is in the house and the caller is on the front porch. The caller said she doesn’t have a phone number for contact.
Threats: Caller requested a phone contact from an officer. The caller was a visiting professor and went to a play on Monday night. He noticed several valuable pieces of equipment were left after the play. The building was left open, which disturbed the caller, so he advised he took the items to his apartment. The caller said there are rumors they’re going to tear up his apartment.
Suicidal subject: A male subject is suicidal, crying and very upset. He has unknown plans, he just said he feels like it. There are no weapons, and no drinking or drugs. He requested an ambulance, as he doesn’t want to ride in a cop car. The subject is currently sitting in his trailer.
Civil dispute: Caller was going to repossess a silver/black 2003 Dodge Ram truck. When they got there, there was a trailer attached to the truck they’re trying to repossess, and the caller wondered if an officer could help or assist them. The caller wants to be contacted, and wants to know if an officer can make the subject raise the trailer so they can repossess the truck.
Criminal trespass: Caller said there are three people in her house who won’t leave. There has been drinking, but the caller is unsure how much. There are no threats, and nothing physical, they just won’t leave. They’re in the sun room.
Violation of court order: There’s a no contact order filed against the caller. Today, the caller’s stepdaughter tried to phone the caller. The caller did not answer because he didn’t want to mess up the order. He believes the stepdaughter is unaware of the order. The caller wants this incident recorded.
Transferred to Washington State Patrol: Someone is in the women’s bathroom, crying and moaning and yelling for help. It sounded like a female, kind of like an elderly person.
Transferred to Washington State Patrol: A “drunk guy” got into an early 2000s white F-150 and is driving north on Highway 103. The caller said the subject was driving under the speed limit and going all over the road.
