On Nov. 24 at 1:50 p.m. the owner of a Long Beach business reported someone dumping broken windows and garbage in a business dumpster.
At 8:15 p.m. at a tavern in Long Beach, the theft of a wallet containing “a lot of money” was reported with a description of a possible suspect provided. The suspect was located at nearby motel and was interviewed by the responding officers. After a bit of a discussion Zane C. Belshe, 52, from Long Beach admitted to taking the wallet and money from it but said he only had half of the stolen money or $839 left. The money was located in Belshe’s left sock. Belshe was arrested and booked into Pacific County Jail for second-degree theft.
On Nov. 25 at 11:51 a.m. a 17-year-old male was stopped for a traffic infraction and was subsequently cited for third-degree driving while license suspended.
On Nov. 26 at 12:11 p.m. in Ilwaco, Austin M. Koplin, 19, from Long Beach was cited for third-degree driving with a suspended license.
At 4:50 p.m. in Long Beach, George A. Wolf, 52, from Seattle was stopped for allegedly speeding and was said to be showing signs of impairment. The case was handed over to Washington State Patrol who cited Wolf for driving under the influence of intoxicants.
On Nov. 29 at 11:56 a.m. on Advent Street in Ilwaco, the theft of tools including welder, welding torches and more was reported.
At 12:56 p.m. Cindy A. Ledger, 51, from Ilwaco was arrested and booked into Pacific County Jail for domestic violence fourth-degree assault.
Nov. 30 — At 7:45 p.m. in Ilwaco, Joseph W. Jacob, 55, from Vancouver, was stopped for a traffic violation and cited for no valid operator’s license without identification.
