Volunteer weather spotter training offered in Astoria May 1

The National Weather Service welcomes volunteers with an interest in participating in our volunteer weather spotter program to attend one of our spring training sessions. On Wednesday evening, May 1st, we will be conducting a weather spotter training class in Astoria from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The training is free and will be held at the Guy Boyington Building, located at 857 Commercial Avenue in Astoria.
