-
CAPE D — Washington State Parks and the Friends of the Columbia River Gateway presents the Low Tide Drifters on Saturday, July 9, at 7 p.m. as part of the summer concert series at Waikiki Beach, Cape Disapointment State Park, Ilwaco.

With a host of traditional instruments and carefully-crafted lyrics, the Low Tide Drifters create original roots-based songs that reflect the experiences and struggles of everyday working people. Influenced by socially-conscious folk-singers like Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, and Utah Phillips, the contemporary sounds of alternative-country, and the “do-it-yourself” ethos of the independent music scene, they bring a respect for the past and concern for the future to their music.
