Friends of Chinook School’s 17 th annual fundraiser — Oktoberfest “Chinook Style” — was an amazing success. There was a great turnout from all parts of the county, and even others from Seattle and Ridgefield attended and participated in the auctions. Great live music on the main stage and in the Beer Garden was enjoyed by all.

Our thanks to our remarkable chef, Vinessa Karnofski, who served a delicious Bavarian dinner with rave reviews! Thanks to Brian O’Connor, George Coleman, and guest Michael Lalewicz for their soulful sound and great variety of music. Our thanks to Ray Prestegard, a crowd-pleasing singer and multi-talented musician in the Beer Garden. Most of all, thanks to the community, businesses, and many volunteers for their generous donations, hard work and support of this event which made it a great success and a great time! We appreciate you and look forward to seeing you next year!
