Bella Colombo

Six Naselle students from the 2023 graduating class have signed to play collegiate sports.

The latest is Bella Colombo, a three-sport athlete who concluded her Comet athletics career last month with medals in pole vault and javelin at the state track meet. She will play volleyball at the College of the Siskiyous in Weed, Calif.

Five classmates had already signed on the dotted line.

Two students will play at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Ore. Kaylin Shrives, who played three sports and captained the cheer squad, has signed to play volleyball. Kolten Lindstrom, another three-sport standout, will play baseball there.

Two Comet athletes have signed to play at Lower Columbia College in Longview. They are Brynn Tarabochia, who will play volleyball, and Lauren Katyryniuk, the 1B basketball player of the year.

Haley Eastham signed earlier to play softball for Corban University in Salem. Ore.
