Have you been looking for a smaller, sweet- tempered dog that would make a great lap dog and walking buddy? Bentley could be your guy! This sweet, 4-year old Chihuahua/doxie mix came to us from an overcrowded California shelter. Initially, he was a little shy but soon began to warm up, and in no time his love for walks and enjoyment of human companionship began to shine through. He weighs 12.5 pounds, so he is truly in the lap dog category!

He has quickly become a favorite of the Dog Walkers and staff alike, and walks very nicely on a leash. Young children seem to make him nervous, so a quiet adult home would probably be best. As Pet of the Week, Bentley’s adoption fee has been halved to just $125, and he is fully vetted and ready to go! We are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only for adoptions and surrenders. Stray drop-off, spay/neuter vouchers and pet food program are available during open hours.
