Long Beach Police Department

June 30 — A patient was brought in “and she eloped. She was in a hospital gown. Patient is still in the parking lot, and they don’t try to bring them back in, she has no weapons.”

A person is trying to serve papers on a subject and she is refusing to take them. Dispatcher can hear female yelling in the background, saying document server is trying to get rent and she already paid, and he is blocking her from getting out of her trailer.

A homeless male brought in scratch-off tickets. He was paid and is now saying they stole from him. He is outside harassing people, pacing around front and back.

Caller noticed people on the street and it “looks like they are going to be camping, dry camping” in a cul-de-sac.

July 1 — Caller was walking down the street by the police station when a vicious dog bit the caller and broke the skin through the pants, leaving a wound that is bleeding. Caller talked to the owner of dog to see if dog has been vaccinated.

A panhandler reported to be on Pioneer Road right on the corner by the Pioneer heated storage, which kicked him off the property.

July 2 — Four subjects have been up on the roof for at least a minute and a half; they are right above the apartment in the top of the building. Caller thinks that they are trying to hop from building to building. Can’t hear what they saying.

A caller says there is a black and white Toyota parked in the road. Caller says she tried talking to the male subject and he sort of moves and is breathing.

A girl is upstairs in an apartment and is undressed and “she did scream.”

At 9:42 p.m., “Fireworks in the city. Isn’t there a law?? There is no way LBPD cannot hear them.”

July 3 — Someone made a disturbing call to reporting party about “kidnapping” her daughter. She contacted her daughter and she is okay.

Long Beach Fire toned out for a structure fire.

At 7:44 p.m., three juveniles setting off fireworks nearly set the dune grass on fire.

A caller says older brother and younger sister drove up for 4th of July. Father on drugs punched brother in face and left him on the beach. Father is saying that people are trying to murder him, that they are coming for us. He is mentally not there because he is tweaking.

July 4 — A male is lying in the middle of the road, and another male standing over him, yelling at him. Possibly fighting. Unknown if they had weapons.

A subject was riding a bike and got hit by a car, he is awake and breathing. Medix ETA 5 blocks away.

At 7:08 p.m. a caller says the fireworks are bad, caller’s house just shook and caller says they “banned the boom.”

At 7:21 p.m. a caller says that fireworks have been going off since 3 p.m., and wants to report it.

At 8:29 p.m. caller says a “group of 2,000 kids lighting off fireworks in the dunes.”

At 8:41 p.m. a caller says that there is a law stating that fireworks are illegal in Ilwaco, and there are fireworks going off right now and she wants an officer to come down and patrol the streets and put a stop to it.

At 8:46 p.m. a caller wants to talk to a Long Beach officer about the firework rules.

At 8:57 p.m. people in the house behind the church are lighting off big fireworks.

At 9:03 p.m. a caller states there are people lighting fireworks in the house right next to her house, and they are supposed to be illegal, so why is there nothing being done.

At 9:17 p.m. fireworks near the school.

At 9:22 p.m. a caller states they stop shooting off the fireworks as soon as they see the police.

At 10:14 p.m. caller says there are fireworks going off in her area and they have been going off since 9 p.m.

A man just assaulted caller, and pulled a stun gun on her and pushed her. She is with her kids in a pool. The suspect is skinny man, slightly balding. Caller says that the man was mad about the kids being in the pool at 10:30 p.m.

A caller says there are people fighting near the beach approach, no weapons but they were shooting fireworks at each other.

At 10:56 p.m. an autistic male reported missing.

An intoxicated male, trying to get to his car, is walking with the reporting party, wearing dark blue hoodie and American flag shorts.

Caller: “A girl in a red Hummer assaulted my girlfriend.”

July 5 — At 12:21 a.m. a group of eight rowdy people are arguing with staff and trashing things.

At 12:58 a.m. a “truck towed a car into our car and it hit us.”

Reports of dogs locked in vehicles.

Neighbors are burning siding from their house, caller believes this is illegal.

Caller: “I saw an old man driving a U-haul in Long Beach. He pulled over and opened up the back and a bunch of young girls came out. It was on Bolstad Avenue at the beach entrance.”

Caller states that there are two woman fighting on the ground at Black Lake; caller didn’t see any weapons.

At 9:37 p.m. a caller states they are setting off fireworks near her house and it woke her up.

At 9:43 p.m. a caller states there are a lot of fireworks going off in her area and she wants to report it.

At 9:45 p.m. a caller says there are fireworks going off in her area, says she is not one to complain, but she is done with it.

At 10 p.m. a caller wants to report fireworks in the area.

At 10:11 p.m. a caller says there are fireworks still going off 23 hours after they are supposed to be going off, and wants to report it.

July 6 — Caller says there is a weird guy on a motorcycle doing wheelies in the road, and runners for an event are about to come through.

A kid got jumped by six suspects in a gray Silverado. They pulled guns on him and took off in an unknown direction.

Caller says a German shepherd was in their backyard and they couldn’t let their dogs out. “There are also three French bulldogs that don’t use a leash and they are all scaring our dogs and us. There is a lot of barking and chaos.”

At 9:53 p.m. a fireworks complaint.

Pacific County Sheriff’s Office

June 30 — Female hit a deer or an animal of some kind, and it destroyed the right passenger side of her car.

Caller says a female who tried break into her house earlier is back now trying to get into neighbor’s cars.

Raymond caller says that last night around 3 a.m. he heard a loud boom; this morning he found his garbage can has been obliterated, and he thinks that someone put something in it that blew up.

Caller would like someone to come and remind a subject that he is trespassed from the property; he is screaming at customers.

On the trail there is a guy who threw a stick.

Sometime on June 29 around 2 p.m. caller’s parked car was hit. Caller knows who did it and has tried to make contact with them and they are not returning calls. Subject that hit the vehicle was DUI and they took his keys.

A lady came in and has a knot on her head.

Couple fighting toward the back of the laundrymat. Caller saw the woman screaming, holding a big long pipe and tried to lunge it at him and he pushed her down.

At the Methodist Church someone is sleeping at the backdoor on Park Avenue between the parsonage and church.

July 1 — Two e-bikes were taken overnight from outside the caller’s camper sometime after 8 p.m.

About 10 people are inside a store shopping, lights are on and doors open, but caller has been there for about 15 minutes and has not seen anyone working there; worried something is wrong.

Wanted person apprehended. One in custody, Miranda advised, en route to OBH for jail clearance.

Caller wants to report possible intoxicated driver.

A woman is screaming and yelling, saying the F word.

Subjects trashed the house before they left town and caller needs to make a police report about it all.

A silver sedan is “driving around crazy,” slammed brakes and “tore their ass into Ocean Park.”

Caller reports “a lady, she is interesting looking, has bald head and is broken down in middle” of the road. She had her hood up and was digging around in her car. The vehicle is mostly on the wrong side of the road.

At 10:31 p.m. in Chinook there is someone in the parking lot shooting off fireworks.

At 11:04 p.m. someone is shooting off fireworks, unsure if on the beach or in the Seaview area.

July 2 — Female says someone walked by screaming.

Skinny male, black jacket, looks passed out, lying on the corner of Sandridge. Drove by about 10 mins ago and he was walking really slow, now he is in the fetal position lying on the ground and not moving.

A male who rides a tricycle through town is on neighbor’s lawn with another subject just lying there, possibly drinking. This subject has dumped trash in the lawn before and caller has asked him to leave in past, and he has cussed him out and told him to mind his own business.

A caller lost her wallet or possibly left it at a friend’s house and someone found it. There have been lots of local charges on her card. Caller has closed all her accounts but there were lots of charges before she realized it, around $500 that she knows of right now.

Caller found a blue e-bike on their property.

A female broke into caller’s house, sat down on the couch; caller kicked her out and she got in his truck and took something. Now she is running south on Sandridge.

A caller says the door to the State Parks bathroom has been locked for two days. Caller says the doors lock from the inside. Caller isn’t sure if anyone is in the bathroom.

Neighbor’s pit bulls are in caller’s yard again and have been vicious in the past. Deputy checked and didn’t see any dogs.

Caller watched a Toyota car “fly off the road,” it’s about 10 feet off the road. Message received stating owner of an iPhone was in crash. Can hear female crying.

Sister got into his account and took money “in and out of it.”

Caller says there is a dump truck headed south and there is a large tree trunk hanging out the back by the roots.

Caller says there was a homemade explosive devise that blew up in her mailbox.

Caller: “We have some campers that are approved on our property, but another guy with no teeth keeps coming onto the property.”

At 9:30 p.m. “there are fireworks every night on the beach approach. Please document. I live by the dunes and I want it documented and reviewed.”

At 10:08 p.m. “a lot of fireworks in the area.” Caller is hoping a police officer will stop by and talk to the people.

At 10:25 p.m. a caller has a noise complaint in Seaview. A dog has been outside barking since about 5 p.m.

At 11:17 p.m. fireworks going since 8 p.m.

July 3 — Someone is loading up sand and taking as much as he can in a silver SUV. Has taken at least 10 5-gallon buckets. Deputy advises it’s not illegal to take sand from beach.

Normal “on the dot” customer hasn’t been seen for a month. Had a friend check on him, and they got no answer at the door, could hear a radio.

Caller watched a man take some stuff into the woods across from their house. He is assuming that this is a squatter, or setting up a camp. Male is a white guy, maybe a blue coat, and he was on the highway grabbing stuff and taking it back into the woods.

Her brother broke her phone. Brother was in the car waiting when she went to the senior center and he stormed inside complaining about how long she was taking because he wanted to go buy more alcohol.

A caller said she was scammed between June 12 and now; signed up for online marketing and paid $4,875 via Bitcoin. She has now closed all her accounts.

A person outside harassing caller, “knocking on the door and calling her names.” She said that she has been trying to contact her and sending her messages, and she doesn’t feel safe.

Caller says that someone tried stealing a motor off the back of his boat; it wasn’t taken but there are bolts removed.

Ocean Park caller states he is being harassed by his neighbor and they have a dog barking. They are pulling out stakes that have been there since 2006. Owner of the property is doing construction without permission.

Citation for speed 58 in 35.

At 7:42 p.m. there is a man, brown pants and heavy set, setting off fireworks into traffic, caller states she is watching him do it right now.

A subject wearing black puffy jacket, grey black pants, and snow boots, is screaming and refusing to leave the store.

At 8:58 p.m. caller is reporting fireworks in Long Beach.

At 10:29 p.m. there’s a small fire inside of a dumpster. It’s red and flickering and caller believes it might be on fire on the inside.

At 10:40 p.m. explosions in Seaview.

At 10:43 p.m. caller says mortars are being shot off and they are close to the tent that sells fireworks and he is concerned.

Caller says that his ex girlfriend stole his service animal, and they are refusing to give the dog back. Caller says he had a heart attack and passed out, and his ex grabbed the dog and took off with it, a pit bull terrier.

At 11:04 p.m. a caller says there is a person standing outside throwing fireworks at the windows.

At 11:39 p.m. dumpster fire reported on the Bay Avenue approach.

July 4 — Caller’s neighbor says that he is going to do his own “pyro event” at his house.

Nine cows in the backyard; caller believes owner has property across river.

Caller’s child was just bitten by a German shepherd, there are a couple teeth marks on child’s side. Child is back to riding his bike and the dog is back at its house.

Female neighbor has been outside yelling/screaming. Caller asked male at residence if he was okay and he said “no.” Caller hasn’t seen it be physical, hasn’t seen any weapons. Yelling was about garbage/sounds.

Non-injury three- or four-vehicle accident blocking roadway.

There is a car accident just outside the Chinook tunnel, one small silver sedan in ditch on north end of tunnel.

A rottweiler is running around jumping on people. Caller talked to the owner of dog and she flipped him off and told him to get off her property. Nobody is injured but the dog has been doing this repeatedly.

At 2 p.m. loud explosions, a dozen mortars, shaking houses.

Caller says there are three guys driving about 50 mph on chopper bikes.

A caller says there is a red Datsun truck parked at a gate to his property and the people are dumping things. Caller went there and the female said “F*** off and move along.” Male with the female appears to be high.

Caller: “Neighbor is intoxicated and screaming and yelling at us and said to his wife he can shoot us.”

At North Cove, two four-wheeler ATVs are driving all around, making noise and making dust, and the people riding them have no license.

At 6:13 p.m. a dune fire reported south of Seaview approach.

At 6:57 p.m., caller reports people lighting off fireworks in “a heavily wooded neighborhood and the fireworks are going off everywhere.” Caller thought fireworks were restricted to beach only.

Deputy spoke with a child who he was fine; he was riding a bike but looked in distress. The boy stated he was okay.

Many traffic stops by law enforcement for speeding, no plates, defective equipment, etc.

Big mortars exploding for awhile; it is distressing for a lot of neighbors.

At 8:33 p.m., lots of fireworks going off in the area. Deputy advised fireworks are legal, it’s Independence Day.

Caller says there is a dog running around, and the owner says “it’s a free-range dog.”

At 8:41 p.m., “neighbors lit off an M80. They lit off a huge bomb and they drink, very bad there.”

At 8:49 p.m., “someone is shooting [in] the area, mortars in area.”

At 10:04 caller says there are fireworks going off and they are mortars and they are hitting her deck.” Deputy responds “Fourth of July. Fireworks legal.”

At 10:09 p.m. caller says “her neighbor is shooting off fireworks and she is scared to death.”

Fireworks complaints times four.

A caller says he lost his dog on the dunes and doesn’t know to do; dog has a shock caller, and is running from him. Deputy not able to respond to this incident at this time due to other incidents.

At 10:27 p.m. at Ocean Park beach approach a drunk driver in a Ford F250 hit caller’s friend.

At 10:48 p.m. caller reporting illegal fireworks, smoke everywhere, looks like a fireworks show across the street.

At 11:36 p.m. dumpster on fire: flames over the top.

Found dog, older white and black spots and orange-ish/red, 50 pounds. No space in kennel. Caller will take dog in in the morning to check for a chip.

July 5 — At 12:42 a.m. fireworks complaint, “neighbor is going crazy.”

At 12:51 a.m. fireworks complaint, “very irate, has called over and over and over.”

At 12:59 a.m. “someone in area of boat launch setting off fireworks, cannot be legal ones, area of on going for last 10-15 minutes.”

At 1:31 a.m. caller is “camping and can hear kids and female screaming, parents are fighting, suspect male is intoxicated.”

At 2:44 a.m. “there’s someone partying behind us and cussing and yelling. Inside garage with door closed.”

At 9:02 a.m. a caller says she has been held at a home nearby against her will for about a year.”

Loose horse on the road.

At 12:21 p.m. there’s a fire about 10 x 15 about 30 feet off the roadway; flames are not that big, fire is crawling right now, getting close to the tree line

A caller requests a license plate be run on a male that is “giving her bad vibes.” He was driving the wrong way in the park and he was “laughing hysterically and talking to himself.”

At 5:36 p.m. in Oysterville a “lady screaming someone isn’t letting her out of the house. … says he has guns in house, rifles and pistols. Caller was driving by and saw this women hanging out the window of this yellow house telling her to call police.”

Speeding 86 in 55, citation issued for 15 mph over speed limit. Was passing a vehicle doing the speed limit.

Verbal domestic violence on Seaview beach approach between two transients — male wearing jeans flannel unbuttoned, female wearing black jeans grey sweatshirt. Walking from bathrooms male yelling at female “I should beat your f***ing ass.”

At 8:58 p.m. caller states that there are fireworks going off in her area, and she wants to report it.” Deputy responded “Legal on 5th of July.”

At 9 p.m. fireworks are starting up again.

Many more fireworks complaints, but deputy asserts they’re legal under state law RCW 70.77.

Ocean Park caller says a female in white pajamas walking toward the beach approach was yelling, and then hit her and her dad.

At 10:29 p.m. in Ocean Park, “Fireworks in the area again, I keep calling and law doesn’t do its job. Are they going to do anything?”

At 10:49 p.m. “fireworks close to my house, they are so loud they set off my car alarm twice.”

At 10:53 p.m. sound complaint for “music or party in the house behind us. Small blue house, making my windows shake.” Deputy says “no crime occurred, [it’s] not during quiet hours.”

At 11:30 p.m. “fireworks near the beach approach I think. I’ve had enough. Please stop them.” Deputy responds “5th of July fireworks legal.”

July 6 — 12:25 a.m. caller is camping and can’t find husband, he went to the beach four hours ago and isn’t familiar with the area.

AT 12:25 a.m. a drunk is screaming, trying to throw hands at people and getting in people’s face.

At 2:28 a.m. trailer on fire, flames, back part of trailer is on fire, everyone is out.

Caller has two squatters in garage, unknown who they are or how long they’ve been there; up in loft, cannot see them, they are hiding behind the box of tools.

Caller says she was involved in a hit and run on the night of the 4th. Caller’s car was parked and another person hit her car with their large red truck, female gave caller false information.

A caller says a male told her that his girlfriend has been in the state park bathroom for 24 hours. She is known to be on drugs and to have a lot of drugs on her, and is yelling and screaming. There is also a another female walking around and she can be aggressive.

Ocean Park caller says there is a man harassing her; he says he was a cop and is sitting at the bottom of his driveway looking at her.

A caller says he was bit by a dog and that it attacked his dog, and when he asked the man if his dog had rabies the man told him he was going to beat him if he made trouble.

In Seaview, there is a car that is partially parked on the road and it’s a hazard. “It’s like a junk yard and people buy junk from her and cops don’t do anything about it.”

Caller is following an orange older van, possible DUI, swerving and almost hitting other cars.

A caller reports car off road in ditch and she thinks there are kids in the car.

Intruders are in caller’s building; don’t know how long they have been there and don’t know who they are.

At 9:31 p.m. a caller says there are fireworks going off in her area. Deputy responded “no crime.”

At 10:06 p.m. neighbor is lighting fireworks and it’s landing on caller’s house. Deputy checked the area and no fireworks observed or heard.

At 10:17 p.m. fire responders on scene request law for illegal burn. Homeowner refusing to cooperate.

At 10:18 p.m. caller says mortars going off about two blocks away from her and she can hear yelling, like maybe fighting.
