Please consider a tax deductible donation to one of our peninsula food banks. The Loren H. Corder Foundation will match any donation received before Dec. 19.

All our food banks are run by volunteers (ours takes over 3,500 hours to operate each year) with no paid staff, so your donation will go directly to help clients.

The St. Vincent de Paul food bank in Ilwaco has seen a 68% increase in clients over last year and we have spent more than twice as much on food purchases ($33,927 compared to $18,203). We also spent over $1,000 on toilet paper to give our clients each week. We gave 169 families (134 last year) $42 meal coupons for Sid’s Market for Thanksgiving and plan to do the same for Christmas and Easter.

We need support from our community to continue to help our neighbors in need.
