Anyone who has recently driven on N Place at the north end of Seaview is fully aware that the Pacific County Commissioners have established a new transfer station/dump on N Place between 48th and 49th Streets.

It’s odd that they would endorse a waste facility in such close proximity to residential homes, especially at a location where there have been two fires in the last few years.

I have a few questions for Commissioners Olsen, Doyle and Tobin:

A) Why did you choose a location within the city of Seaview, so close to so many citizens’ homes?

B) When can all citizens of Pacific County start dropping off their refuse at the new Dump on N Place?

C) When will a waste management company start removing the waste?
