Letter: Pilot cannot enter Ilwaco airport safely

A neighbor decides she doesn’t want people walking behind her house, let alone an airplane. The problem is that the 80-foot strip she is talking about is a taxi lane to the airport. So far, she has cost the taxpayers $ 31,000 for legal fees to fight the easement of 42 landowners in Vandalia, Ilwaco city limits.
I have asked for this problem to be put on the agenda for a full report of the legal documents that show the easement goes with the land, not to the city.
I have not found any ordinances or Ilwaco Municipal Codes that refer to the taxi lane on Tract “D.”
There are nine airplane hangers in Vandalia.
In 1970, a developer started Unit#1 as an airpark. Unit#2 property owners cannot have airplanes on their lots. Unit #3 is now being developed and may have a taxi lane.
Holly Beller is the city administrator and uses her office for her benefit.
I don’t believe anyone can dictate how a “Pilot in Command” can taxi his or her airplane.
