From the moment I first me Dave Tobin as the Principal of Ilwaco High School, In June before my freshman year (Class of 2021) I knew what was expected of me.

As an eighth grader, when you meet someone like that, who is stern but fair, you tend to only see the stern part and don’t understand what about it is fair. Well, now as a working young man, I am actually very thankful to have had him as a leader in my life and I’ve realized that we need more people like Dave Tobin at this point in our country and, more importantly, in our county and small town. Someone who is willing to genuinely listen even if they don’t agree. Someone who has put in so much time and given so much life to the youth of the community. But, most importantly someone who believes in accountability.

Out of all the lessons I was able to learn from someone like Dave Tobin, the fact that he always held me, my peers, and, most importantly, himself accountable is something that I think is very important. Please join me in re-electing Dave Tobin to the position of County Commissioner District #2.
