Named for an illustrious former coach, the Lyle Patterson Gym has seen much drama over the years. Alumni are being recruited to add some more memories Dec. 23.

NASELLE — Players are being recruited for Comet alumni basketball games.

The idea was dreamed up by the Naselle girls basketball team and its coaches, Marie Green and Haleigh See. It may become an annual event.

Two games are planned Dec. 23 in the Lyle Patterson Gym. The women will play at 5:30 p.m. and the men at 7 p.m.

The fee for players is $20 each.
