Fishermen, Ravens named to basketball All-League list

- Ilwaco freshman Taylor Morrison (10) earned an honorable mention.
Players on Pacific County 2B boys and girls basketball teams have received regional recognition.
Junior Dylan Pelas of Ilwaco was named to the Pacific League All-League first team.
Fishermen junior Jacob Gordon and freshman Haddox Hazen were named to the second team.
Christopher Quintana, a senior from Raymond-South Bend, was named most valuable player.
Ravens junior Chris Banker was named to the second team and honorable mentions went to sophomore Tanner Morris and juniors Aaron Somero and Carson Ridderbush.
Keith Weekes of Forks was named coach of the year. North Beach earned the team sportsmanship award.
For the girls, Sophia Bittner, an Ilwaco junior, was named to the All-League first team. Classmate Nora Soule was named to the second team and freshman Taylor Morrison earned an honorable mention.
Kassie Koski, a Raymond-South Bend junior, was named most valuable player.
Other Ravens honored were juniors Ava Baugher and Megan Kongbouakhay on the first team, sophomore Avalyn Stigall on the second team and an honorable mention for Ava Pine-Isaksen.
Raymond-South Bend’s Jason Koski was named coach of the year. Forks earned the sportsmanship award.
