Looking for a canine friend who’s always up for playtime, cuddles, and endless smiles? Meet Spencer, your future bundle of joy! Here’s why you’ll love Spencer:
Playful dynamo: At just a year old, this handsome shepherd–husky mix lives for fetch, frisbees, and chasing tennis balls until the sun goes down.
Goofy charm: Spencer’s goofy antics, from zooming around the yard to launching surprise “talk-back” conversations, are guaranteed to keep you laughing. This boy has bucketloads of charm!
Heart-melting affection: After a busy romp, he’ll melt into your lap for cozy snuggles and gentle pets. His sweet “lean-in” kisses are the perfect way to end any day. And if the sun is shining, he will be rolling on his back for belly rubs in the grass!
Smart, curious and ready to learn: Spencer thrives on adventure and mental challenges. He’s already mastering leash manners and basic commands, and with your guidance, he’ll quickly become the epitome of good behavior.
With a little introduction, we believe Spencer could make a fantastic playmate for any current household pup. His friendly nature means he is likely to get on well with other dogs.
Bring Spencer home today! This joyful, affectionate companion cannot wait to fill your home with laughter, play, and love. Ready to meet your new best friend? Submit your adoption application now at beachpets.com and get ready for a lifetime of tail wags!
Foster a large pup!
Want to make a huge impact for shelter animals? Fostering is one of the most powerful ways you can help, and we desperately need fosters for large dogs right now!
Whether you can commit to a weekend, a few weeks or the long term, there’s a foster option that fits your lifestyle. And we’ve got you covered: all food, supplies and medical care are provided, plus you’ll have access to our amazing foster buddy support system to help every step of the way! Here’s what one of our amazing weekend fosters shared:
Weekend fostering is perfect for the busy bees that wish they could foster full time, but they just don’t have the time or resources. On my weekends, I look forward to fostering a shelter pup because it’s not only a fun “sleepover,” but it’s the ultimate, peaceful getaway for that shelter dog. Additionally, the overnight getaways allow the foster to learn intimate details about their furry guest that can help them get adopted! I participate in respite fostering because I enjoy it, but also because I know the dog enjoys it even more.
If you can’t adopt, fostering is the next best thing. Let’s get these big-hearted pups into homes where they can finally breathe easy. Go to https://beachpets.com/long-beach-wa-shelter/foster/ (scroll passed cat foster form to get to the dog one).
