ILWACO – The Inn at Harbour Village, located at 120 Williams Avenue, N.E. in Ilwaco will host its first annual “Community Day of Thanks” on Thursday, Nov. 23, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

With support and donations from the community and the help of volunteers the Inn will be providing a traditional Thanksgiving day dinner and holiday atmosphere for families in need or for those with no place to go for the holiday. Turkey and all the trimmings will be served.

The goal of owners Russell Maize and Chris Summerer and Innkeeper Trudi Forti is to feed as many people as wish to attend. Community members and friends are already signing up for shifts to help with the serving and clean-up.

In order to make the event a success the inn is seeking food and/or cash donations from the community. One hundred percent of all donations will be used for the dinner and entertainment. Remaining resources will be forwarded to the Food Bank and Meals on Wheels.
