KLIPSAN – After finding much success with T-shirt sales on eBay, Angela Pierce opened her own business, Digital Canvas Images, on June 22.

Selling T-shirts and gifts and providing data transfer services, Digital Canvas Images is located at 21706 Pacific Highway in Klipsan.

The shop currently carries pre-printed, solid color and tie-dye T-shirts featuring American flags, the Seattle Seahawks, singers and band logos (from Kiss and AC/DC to Elvis and the Beatles), wildlife, and trains, in sizes ranging from 2T to 3XL. Additional sizes are available via special order. Adult shirts are priced between $20 and $25; children’s shirts sell for $15. Digital Canvas Images also carries banners, postcards, pins, cigarette lighters, key chains, mouse pads and hats, and will ship their products worldwide.

“We’ve always enjoyed music and movie collectibles,” she explains. “We love ‘stuff.’ We have access to some really neat product, and are open to suggestions and take special orders. Being next to Dollar Wave Plus has really brought in a diverse customer base.”

Pierce says she likes to cater to the local taste, and hopes the styles will attract kids who will be shopping for new school clothes. She adds that she’s always open to suggestions on what to carry, as long as requests are suitable for her family friendly store.

Bring your camera’s memory card in and Pierce can transfer 40 gigabytes of photos at a time onto a DVD for $5 for the first disc and $2 for each additional disc. In the future, Pierce hopes to eventually upgrade her equipment to provide photo restoration services.

Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Digital Canvas Images is located just south of Dollar Wave in Klipsan.
