Locally written play performed in Raymond

RAYMOND Celestial Serendipity, a new play by local playwright Russell Wiitala, opened to appreciative audiences last weekend. The show continues for three performances this weekend Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Hannan Playhouse in Raymond. In a scene, Madam Celeste (played by Rayetta Kenworthy), left, is upset when Dr. Henry Weurth (played by Curt Harris), right, proposes to tape record their psychiatric session. Tickets are $10 each and are available at South Bend Pharmacy, Everyones Video and More, and at the door.
