Heaven Lee Davis

LONGVIEW Heaven Lee Davis, 19, died Feb. 22, 2011, in Longview. She was born June 6, 1991, in Portland to Claude and Rhonda (Byrd) Davis. 

The family lived in Long Beach for a time and she attended school on the Peninsula. Later they moved to Cathlamet where she graduated from Wahkiakum High School. She was living in Longview, attending Lower Columbia College, and working as a food cashier at the time of her death.

She loved to sing and collected a variety of items with turtles on them. She also liked to play basketball. She was the oldest of three girls and was very close to her sisters. She was deeply loved and will be truly missed by all.

Survivors include her parents, Rhonda Byrd and Claude Davis Jr.; her two sisters, Tyleana Marie Davis, age 18, and Britney Ann Davis, age 16; her grandmother, Sharon Gove; great-grandmother, Betty Gove; her grandfather, Ron Byrd; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of her family.

A gathering in her memory, followed by a potluck meal, will be held at 1 p.m., March 19 at Peninsula Baptist Church in Klipsan, with Pastor David Curtis officiating. Family and friends of family are encouraged to attend.
