    ILWACO Imagine, if you will, a fantasy land where boys can fly with happy thoughts and evil captains with hooks for hands patrol the seas. Now, also imagine that same land, only turned a bit on its head welcome to CSI: Neverland, the spring comedy production by Ilwaco Middle/High School, performed this weekend at Hilltop Auditorium in Ilwaco.

    Evan Sutherland stars as Peter Pantaloon, a free-spirited boy with eternal youth but a bit of a problem someone has murdered his shadow. On the case is a team of detectives from CSI: Neverland, Tinker, played by Raven Rogers, and Murk, played by Kevin Johnson.

    Hilarity ensues as they run down the case and a few red herrings while visiting many of the locales in the titular world.

    The prime suspect in the case is librarian Brenda Brooks, played by Amanda Bell, a childhood friend of Peters who has given up her imagination in exchange for the cold, hard light of the real world. But once arrested and taken back to Neverland, Brooks soon finds that what she lost when she grew up could be found once more as can Peters shadow murderer.

 

    The show will feature five performances: Friday, April 27 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 28 at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 29 at 1 -.m. and 4 p.m. Ticket prices are $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and are available at the door.
