TACOMA Sally Anderson, age 57, died Aug. 11, 2013, in Tacoma. The daughter of Roy and Margaret Anderson, she was born Feb. 25, 1956, in Renton. She had lived on the Peninsula for 30 years and left to attend college. She liked church, campfires, traveling and Holden Village. She also lived in Astoria for years before moving to the Peninsula to live with her parents. Eventually she moved to a care center in Tacoma until her passing. She liked being a part of the choir in school and church. Bud and Ethel Runyan took care of her and spent a lot of time helping her. They were a blessing to Sally and to her family as were so many others. She has gone to the Lord. Survivors include her sister, Cheryl Gordon; nieces and nephews, David Huff, Kenneth Gordon Jr., Julianna Fleming, Nick (Crystal) Dingus, Cody Huff, Jacob Gordon, David Gordon, Davin Huff, Nicholas Dingus Jr., and Jasimine. A service will be held on Aug. 3 at the Ocean Park Lutheran Church.
