The Wahkiakum Ferry is out of service.

The vessel, which carries vehicles between Westport, Ore. and Puget Island, Wash., is expected to be out of service for repairs for at least the next few days, the Wahkiakum County Public Works Department announced Wednesday, Oct. 23.

Alternate routes across the Columbia River are at Astoria and Longview.
