This crabby look is just a disguise! Gemma is actually a very nice girl! Her face might look like Grumpy Cat, but the shelter staff and Cat Cuddlers all agree that this 10-month-old dilute calico girl is very sweet, and loves to get attention and be petted.

She is also very unusual, in that she is polydactyl, meaning she was born with extra toes — her nickname is “Gemma Extra-Toes.”

Gemma would be an ideal family pet, and would love the attention given her by gentle kids. She is very playful, and loves to play with her racetrack toy. What she is hoping for is a home and a lap of her own.

As Pet of the Week, her adoption fee has been halved to just $75, and she is fully vetted and ready to go!

Spring is springing, and unfortunately, with spring comes kitten season. We are getting ready by asking our loyal supporters for donations of Purina Kitten Chow. This Kitten Chow is readily available, and can be purchased at most grocery stores, and also online. Thank you for your support, and for helping us care for the Tiny Tigers!

We are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only for adoptions and surrenders. Stray drop-off, spay/neuter vouchers and pet food program are available during open hours.
