This absolutely adorable tuxedo girl is Sylvia and she is a truly charming cat! When she first came to the shelter, she’d eagerly come forward for cuddles and give you a cute little growl while you were petting her. But when her friend Butler was adopted, she lost some of her confidence.

She is an absolute love bug, but she has to get to know you first. Meet and greets have been difficult for Sylvia because she shies away from new people who come into the free-range room where she lives. But, believe us, once she’s brought you into her circle, she is nothing but snugs and cuddles.

So here’s the deal: Sylvia needs a forever home with someone who isn’t afraid to give her a little space and time to flourish. Whoever adopts this girl is going to be so very, very lucky! Looking for Treasures for our Spring BeachPets Treasure Hunt!Our spring auction is coming up April 19 — 26 and we are looking for loot to auction off! We have the most success with new items, collectables, vintage items in good condition, art work, handmade crafts, handmade jewelry, and certificates for goods and services, including lodging.

To donate items for the auction, please follow our “easy-peasy 3 steps”: Go to our website beachpets.com and click Events. Select the Beachpets Treasure Hunt; print and complete a donor form, attach a copy of your form to your item, and drop it off at the shelter.
