Letter of Thanks

The Surfside Homeowners Association hosted its annual 18-hole Golf Tournament at the Surfside Golf Course on June 9. Net proceeds will fund scholarships for the Ilwaco High Class of 2019. Participation was wonderful and we are very grateful to all the players, sponsors and prize donors for their generosity,
The winning teams were: 1st Place – Doc’s Aces (61) Don Sheldon, Kenneth Sheldon, Al Short, Bill Herman; 2nd – Shaggy Swingers (63) Jack Kristensen, Jim Flood, Brian Regimbal; 3rd – Wise Guys (65) Gary Weiss, Greg Chalker, Bob Matthews, and Kelly Montgomery. Men’s Long Drive – Mike Lambert (195 yds). Women’s Long Drive – Sharon Cade (400 yds). Longest Putt – Glenn Stephens (41 feet). Men’s KP#3 – Don Sheldon (6’8”). Women’s KP#8 – Cynthia Eck (20’7”).
