Letter: Thanks to dedicated Raymond Police

Our family would like to bring attention to the hard work of the Raymond Police Department who went above and beyond to locate my son who was missing for over two months. He was last seen in the middle of January in Raymond and seemingly disappeared without a trace.

Once he was officially declared missing the police department began combing through every little detail about his last known whereabouts and kept us regularly updated. After a month of searching Sgt. Arlie Boggs tracked my son to the Port Angeles area.
It was a relief after two months of worry when I got the phone call late in the evening on April 3 that a deputy in Clallam County was sent to an address and located him okay. It turned out he just decided to leave without a trace and didn’t want to be found.
Turns out that the police department is really good at their jobs and will do everything in their power to find a happy ending. Our family wholeheartedly would like to thank the police department, especially Sgt. Boggs and Chief Pat Matlock.
