Glenn sets new scoring record in leading Lady Fishermen over Mountaineers 90-67

ILWACO — In her final game on her home court, she simply couldn’t be stopped.

By the final buzzer Ilwaco senior guard amassed 58 points — shattering the school record (46) she set the week before — and powering the Lady Fishermen to a 90-67 District 4 2B quarterfinal win over Rainier on June 8 in Ilwaco.
The game started with Ilwaco racing out to a 22-13 lead after the first quarter, including 15 points from Glenn who alternated three-pointers and layups. The second quarter brought a back-and-forth battle with Ilwaco taking a 43-33 lead into the half.
The Mountaineers rallied to open the second half, cutting the lead to single digits (43-38) but Glenn continued to score in bunches, tallying a dozen in the quarter to keep Ilwaco ahead 61-55 going into the final period.

In the fourth quarter senior guard Jaymi Kemmer drilled a crucial three-pointer from the corner, giving Ilwaco some breathing room 68-55 and forcing a Rainier timeout with 6:38 remaining.
After the timeout Kemmer added a layup followed by 12 straight points by Glenn to turn a close game into a 90-67 blowout for Ilwaco.
