On May 7, 2025, the Rosburg Hall will be the site of the first Meet and Greet of the election season for Wahkiakum County Sheriff John Mason. The event is scheduled to take place from 7 to 8 pm.
Mason, a veteran of over ten years with the Wahkiakum County Sheriff’s Office, was appointed as Sheriff by the Board of County Commissioners following the retirement of Mark Howie. The appointment is effective until the 2025 November election at which time Mason must win the majority vote to continue as Sheriff.
The Meet and Greet provides Wahkiakum residents the opportunity speak directly with Mason and to learn more about his prior experience, accomplishments as Sheriff and his future plans for the Sheriff’s Office.
After dinner snacks will be provided by members of the Committee to Retain Sheriff John Mason.
