Resident says far-left tycoons pay for anti-DOGE protests
I would like to thank you for printing the very humorous parody article on the front page. The one titled “Hundreds march in support of national ideals.” The protests, financially supported by NGOs supported by billionaire George Soros among other far-left billionaires, are aimed at the DOGE removal of unspeakable amounts of waste and fraud in government agencies. I guess the “national ideals” support such fraudulent waste.
Paid protesters supported by billionaires protest the fact that a billionaire is assisting the removal of fraud and waste in the government. You can’t make this stuff up.

Get set to file for port commission
An important event is upcoming in our community; the filing period for candidates interested in the District #1 Port of Peninsula Commissioner position will be open May 5th to 9th.
This is a pivotal opportunity for an individual possessing the vision and dedication to be part of a strong board of commissioners who will work together to steer the port towards a prosperous future for all who depend on its services.
A suitable candidate for this role is someone who can work collaboratively with other commissioners to create policy, provide oversight of port management and actively seek input from port constituents on ways to improve port operations including compliance of process and regulations. A strong sense of the importance of accountability, integrity and transparency is another crucial part of the position.
If you or someone you know resides in District #1 (see the districting map at portofpeninsula.us/district-map) and is interested in becoming a candidate, I encourage you to consider this significant opportunity. There is a group of dedicated and experienced citizens ready to assist you with the candidacy process. You can reach out to the “Port Pals” at bonnieundocked@gmail.com for more information.
This is a great chance for a concerned citizen to step up and make a positive impact on our community by engaging in the governing of the Port of Peninsula. Your leadership and commitment can help shape the future of the Port of Peninsula for the better.
