Animal Shelter Report: Carmella and Lacey will bring you joy

Published 2:05 pm Monday, April 21, 2025

Meet Carmella and Lacey, two adorable five-month-old puppies. Sweetness doesn’t even begin to cover it. These young pups are gorgeousness personified!

Each has a sweet and gentle spirit. For such youngsters, they are impressively well-mannered and surprisingly calm. They love being close to people and soak up affection like sunshine.

We have been working with them both, and they already know how to sit and patiently wait while you clip on their leash. This is pretty impressive for pups their age! Carmella and Lacey love to walk, even if their path is still full of playful zigzags and puppy curiosity! Either would make a wonderful addition to any family ready to give them the love and guidance they deserve.

Carmella is true to her name; this beautiful pup has a lovely caramel-colored coat that turns heads. With a sweet and gentle nature, Carmella stays calm and composed, even when the world around her is full of chaos! She’s the kind of loyal friend who will quietly wait by your side, no matter what’s going on.

Lacey has a stunning shiny black coat and a bright sparkle in his eye. Smart and savvy, Lacey learns quickly, especially when treats are involved! His food motivation will make training a breeze, and he’s always eager to please. Submit in an application today at www.beachpets.com to arrange a meet and greet with one or both or these sweethearts.

Call for fosters

Want to make a huge impact for shelter animals? Fostering is one of the most powerful ways you can help, and we desperately need fosters for large dogs right now!
Whether you can commit to a weekend, a few weeks or the long term, there’s a foster option that fits your lifestyle. And we’ve got you covered: all food, supplies and medical care are provided, plus you’ll have access to our amazing foster buddy support system to help every step of the way!

These dogs are loving, goofy and just need a soft spot to land. By fostering, you give them a break from the shelter, help them shine and give us valuable information about how they do in a home setting. If you can’t adopt, fostering is the next best thing. Let’s get these big-hearted pups into homes where they can finally breathe easy.
