Tegan A. Tipler, 24 — He was apprehended on Dec. 30, 2024, two days after he ran from law enforcement in Raymond following an alleged domestic violence incident. The alleged victim told law enforcement that Tipler had trashed her apartment, previously strangled her, and threatened her with a knife.

According to court records, Tipler was initially charged with domestic violence second-degree assault, domestic violence residential burglary, unlawful imprisonment, interfering with a domestic violence reporting, and unlawful display of a weapon.

The Pacific County Prosecutor’s Office amended Tipler’s charges in a plea agreement to one count of domestic violence third-degree assault as part of a residential-based Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative.

The plea included a recommendation of 30 days of inpatient treatment and 24 months of community custody. If Tipler violates the terms of the plea agreement, he would have to spend any remaining time incarcerated.

According to court records, Tipler faced a standard range with an offender score of 4 with 12-plus to 16 months in prison and 12 months of community custody.

Judge Donald J. Richter accepted the plea agreement and sentence recommendation.
