ILWACO — Public Hospital District 3 of Pacific County announced last week that Ocean Beach Hospital and Medical Clinics is now Ocean Beach Health.
“This name change reflects a growing commitment not just to treating illness, but to keeping our community well through expanded healthcare services, wellness initiatives, and easier access to care,” the south county hospital said in a statement.
“We’re more than a hospital and clinics — we’re a partner in health for our entire community,” said Merry-Ann Keane, CEO of Ocean Beach Health. “Our new name, Ocean Beach Health, reflects our passion for both compassionate, quality medical care and proactive
wellness.
“We’re here to care for you when you need us, and to help you be your healthiest self.”
The shift to Ocean Beach Health represents an evolution, encompassing more than hospital and clinic care. It includes the Wellness & Rehabilitation Center, the Annex classes, community health programs, and the upcoming Express Care, all designed to ensure that people in Pacific County have access to the right care at the right time.
Over the next 10 months, the transition will roll out gradually, with updates to signage, materials, and digital platforms.
“While the name is changing, the heart of our mission remains the same: providing compassionate, high-quality care to our community,” Keane said.
