- Spencer
Are you looking to add a ball of sweet energy to your home? If so, Spencer might be the one for you. He is a handsome and happy 11-month-old shepherd/husky mix. Spencer is always sporting a big smile and loves to engage with you — when you talk, he’ll talk right back! He is a fun-loving and goofy pup with an infectious personality that will brighten your day.
Full of energy and curiosity, Spencer is always up for an adventure. He would thrive in a home with an active family who enjoys outdoor activities. A yard to run and play ball would make him one happy pup!
Spencer is also quite smart and eager to learn. He is currently working on leash walking and basic manners, and with some continued training in his new home he is sure to be the perfect companion. He may do well in a multi-dog home, so a meet and greet with furry family members would be needed to ensure compatibility. He does not like cats.
Sweet, smart, friendly and affectionate, Spencer can’t wait to be a part of your family. Don’t wait – submit your application today at beachpets.com.
Buy a maple dog
There’s still time to support the shelter this month:
Dylan’s Cottage Bakery is donating 50 cents for every maple dog sold during the month of February. It’s a delicious way to help our shelter animals.
Make a change for the animals
Have any loose change in your pocket, car or couch? It’s time to turn those coins into something life-changing for the animals in our care! Every penny, nickel, dime and quarter you donate will go directly toward helping our shelter pets get the love and care they deserve.
Drop off your change at the shelter:
330 2nd St. NE, Long Beach, WA
Open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Let’s come together as a community to create brighter futures for these amazing animals. Spread the word and help the shelter “Make a Change.”
Dog walkers needed
The shelter is in desperate need of volunteer dog walkers, especially ones that can walk some of the bigger, stronger dogs. Training is provided. If you are interested in becoming a dog walker, please complete a volunteer application at beachpets.com.
We are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only for adoptions and surrenders. Stray drop-off, spay/neuter vouchers and pet food program are available during open hours.
View our available cats and dogs and submit an online application at our website beachpets.com. An approved adoption application is required before scheduling a meet and greet with your selected animal.
