Edgar is a handsome doodle in search of just the right home.

Edgar is a striking two-year-old white doodle with a big personality and a heart full of love to give. This energetic, sensitive guy thrives on playtime — especially if there’s a ball involved — and he’s always ready for a walk by your side.

While Edgar is a fun-loving pup, he’s also highly protective of his person. He needs an adopter who understands his need for space and boundaries, is experienced, and is committed to helping him grow into his best self. Edgar can become reactive to unexpected approaches, so he’s looking for a home without children where he can have a consistent routine and plenty of love. He would also do well with an adopter who is not particularly sociable at home, such as someone who doesn’t have lots of visitors to the home. Also, someone who doesn’t want to take Edgar into lots of social situations is ideal. This boy needs predictability and routine. He may be OK with another dog, but this will need to be an easy going and medium to large dog.

The ideal adopter will be patient, experienced and willing to work with our trainer to help Edgar feel safe and secure. In return, you’ll gain an incredibly loyal companion who will always have your back. Edgar will flourish in the right home and be able to show all the love and affection he has in that big heart!

We are open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday by appointment only for adoptions and surrenders. Stray drop-off, spay/neuter vouchers and pet food program are available during open hours.
