Obituary: Russell Willis

OCEAN PARK — Russell Willis, born on March 18, 1945, passed away peacefully on Dec. 19, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, dedication and love for his family and passions.

Russell grew up in Marysville, Washington, where he spent his early years working in the strawberry fields. He graduated from Marysville High School in 1963, and went on to serve as an Everett, Washington police officer for four years.

Following his time in law enforcement, Russell found his true calling as a locksmith.

Over the course of his career, he owned and operated several locksmith shops in the Seattle area, earning the respect and trust of his community.

An avid bowler throughout his life, Russell found joy in the camaraderie of the sport. He also had a deep affection for his beloved dogs, who were constant companions over the years.

In 2013, he retired to Ocean Park, Washington, where he enjoyed a quieter pace of life.

Russell is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Willis; his sister, Shirley Kane; his daughters, Teri Willis, Rusty Tregoning, Laura Young and April Strunk; his son, Ron Noble; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by those who knew him.
