Letter: County board is disrespecting citizens

As citizens of Pacific County we’re appalled at the disrespect and disregard county commissioners are giving your constituents. You do not decide to just change procedures without discussion at open meetings with proper notice. We would not be even aware of these changes if not for the sheriff whom we elected to his office. Considering that you plan on voting the day after Christmas — less than a week from now-and plan on implementing the change a week later, it sounds like this is a slam dunk.

Spend more tax dollars that you tell us you don’t have and certainly not enough funds to do projects you have let languish over a year, for example the 315th Street Bridge in Surfside.

This beginning to sound like the port debacle. Perhaps a recall is in order.

Think long and hard before pushing this agenda.
