According to the Pacific County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Lucas Marthaller was the first officer on scene and was met with an “uncooperative driver” and smelled the odor of an intoxicant. He relayed that information to the WSP.
After the arrival of a WSP trooper from the Naselle detachment, Olsen reportedly cooperated and submitted to a breathalyzer test. She was subsequently arrested for DUI and then released — which is fairly standard for non-felony related DUIs.
The WSP did not provide the breathalyzer result and referred to the report that could be obtained via a public records request, which has been made.
