Keep your family healthy with affordable health coverage

(BPT) – It’s that time of year again — time to review your health care coverage for the next year. The open enrollment period for Individual and Family ACA Marketplace plans starts Nov. 1, 2024, and ends Jan. 15, 2025, in most states. Now is the time to research and enroll yourself and your family in a health care plan to be sure you are covered in 2025.

Finding an affordable plan that meets your specific needs can seem daunting. This task can be even more challenging if you don’t have access to employer-funded coverage, Medicare, Medicaid, or the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

However, you still have options to find an affordable plan through a health insurance marketplace, also known as an exchange. In fact, you may be eligible for financial help to afford your premiums. For example, most UnitedHealthcare Individual and Family ACA Marketplace plan members are receiving a subsidy to help lower their health insurance premiums.
