Oct. 14 — The owner of a Long Beach business reported the theft of around $39,000 from their business over the past year. The owner and another employee said a previous employee who abruptly quit Oct. 8 would take deposits to the bank each day, but would only deposit the checks and not the cash. They also reported she withdrew $5,000 cash in Reno, Nevada while on a trip using the company card, which was not authorized. They also said she is the only person who has passwords to all of their business accounts and their email address and she will not give them the information. They say she manipulated her way to being the only person who was able to access most of the information for the company. The case is under investigation.

A Long Beach innkeeper said a male was refusing to leave the property and was not a guest. She stated that the male was approximately 5-foot-5 and wearing red plaid pajama pants. She told responding officers that the subject had been walking around the property and at one point was behind the manager’s desk and was asked several times to leave the property and did not. Officers contacted the subject who verbally identified himself and who was recognized from previous calls. An officer issued him an 86 form and told him that he would be arrested for trespassing if he stepped foot back on the property. He stated he understood and departed on foot. After running his name officers discovered he also had a felony Department of Corrections warrant.

Multiple reports were later made to LBPD concerning the subject in the previous report, who was identified as Kristopher M. Rose, 35. The Pacific County Jail declined to take him, but Grays Harbor County Jail agreed to and an LBPD officer transported him to Hoquiam.

Oct. 15 — A male subject was contacted by an officer after he exited the 5th Street ladies restroom. He told the officer “he was just cleaning the ladies room.” He was told to stay out of the ladies room and that city employees are the only people authorized to clean the restrooms. The officer told him that further violations would result in him being trespassed from the city restrooms.

A subject was contacted walking around behind the bakery and going into the bakery’s garbage cans. He was belligerent but departed without incident. He has been been trespassed from numerous locations in the county, has an Aberdeen Police obstructing/resisting arrest warrant and is also a convicted felon and the respondent of multiple protection orders.

Coho Charters reported that someone was acting suspiciously and possibly trying to prowl vehicles. Video footage didn’t show him stealing anything but he was looking in various areas and appeared to be looking for items to steal.

Oct. 16 — Brandon R. Holve, 47, was booked for attempted burglary second degree after being observed trying to break into an Ilwaco port business. He was arrested in Raymond.

Oct. 17 — An Ilwaco resident said someone who was supposed to be watching her trailer while she was gone stole $3,500 in cash, a PlayStation, several video games and all her quarters and change. The person was also supposed to be watching her dog, and she let the dog destroy the inside of her trailer.

Beau D. Golightly, 37, of Astoria, was cited for third-degree driving while license suspended after being stopped for an expired registration, and he was issued an infraction for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Oct. 19 — A reporting party said a male subject that frequents the library was screaming and yelling at staff about making copies and refused to leave. Staff locked themselves in the bathroom. An officer spoke with one of the library employees who came out of the bathroom. Her coworker appeared to be having an anxiety attack but denied wanting medical attention. No threats were made by the male subject, who will be trespassed from the facility once he is identified.

A caller said it looked like a male subject had a sword and was talking to himself. An officer said he knew the guy and he films martial arts-like videos for teaching purposes. The subject was gone when a responding officer arrived.
