I am writing this letter to encourage you to vote for Debbie Oakes, current Pacific County PUD commissioner, Position #2.

Debbie has been in this position for the last six years. She has committed herself to representing those living in Pacific County at local, state, regional and federal levels.

She has educated herself along the way, getting involved in not only local issues but also state and federal issues that could impact our county in providing the best services possible to you.

Debbie has been committed to improving our community for over 45 years on many and varied projects, including our schools.

She has shown herself to be a leader who listens to the community she represents. She has worked to keep prices affordable, a system that runs smoothly and provides the services that meet the needs/wants of all of us.

She has shown that she can work with all levels of government. She has educated herself — asking questions of those in the field — so that she can provide the best, competent leadership in our changing world.

She has worked with the other two commissioners and the staff to provide transparency in their decision-making process, supporting the staff in assuring safe, consistent service and bringing back power in a reasonable timeline when circumstances cause issues.

I am urging you to support Debbie Oakes in continuing her service and representation of our county. She is committed to our county and those who live here. Please vote!
