July 22 — A tourist reported three kids fighting in Ilwaco, one on a bike and two on foot. They left in separate directions and the caller wasn’t sure where they went.

Timothy L. Minerd, 36, of Moses Lake, was cited for third-degree driving while license suspended, an expired registration and an infraction for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
July 23 — Laurentino Salazar Vega, 50, of Long Beach, was cited for first-degree negligent driving and third-degree driving while license suspended after a collision on Bolstad Avenue.
July 25 — A resident called to report two individuals had been sleeping on her porch Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. She saw them on her Ring camera. An officer identified the male subject but didn’t recognize the female. The homeowner made arrangements to have them formally trespassed from the property.

An officer checked a vehicle at an address on 11th Street NE and it came back as stolen. “I talked to the owner who said he had a lost salvaged title and the truck belonged to him. He was the one who originally reported it stolen.” He called a towing company to have it hauled away.
July 26 — llya Galitsky, 38, of Ilwaco, was cited for second-degree criminal trespassing after coming onto the property of an Ilwaco business from which she had been previously 86ed.
A case is under investigation after an alleged violation of a protection order aboard a Pacific Transit bus on Pacific Avenue traveling between 10th Street N and 3rd Street N.
A person reported he was threatened by a subject who yelled, “Hey little f***er! Come here!” The reporting party drove away and did not want to fight. The reporting party said there was a previous bullying situation between their sons. An officer told him to get a protection order.
July 27 — A person reported leaving his wallet at the check stand at Pioneer Market. It contained $550 cash, a check for $1,380, a debit card, a green card and various other items. Employees at the store did not witness the event but provided a copy of in-store video surveillance footage showing a suspect picking up the wallet and leaving the store with it. The suspect left as a passenger in a green 1999 Honda Accord with an expired Longview registration. Follow-up will be conducted with Longview Police to attempt to identify the suspect.
A Long Beach citizen reported a male subject with a blonde pony tail and a plaid shirt swinging a metal pipe at her vehicle on Washington Avenue N. Officers responded and a subject admitted to swinging his “metal light fixture” at the car because he believed the car was traveling too close and fast near him. He was told that any future situations would result in disorderly conduct charges.
An Ilwaco resident reported neighbors having a party and boys revving engines. Officers responded and made contact with subjects outside. A subject apologized for the noise and stated that he just replaced the engine and had to move his old pickup. He was given a warning for the night but told that if it should happen again he could receive a citation.
July 28 — Officers concluded no crime was committed but separated the subjects for the nights after a man reported that his wife locked him out of their apartment and tried to stab him. Upon officers’ arrival, the man “stood up straight and saluted us. He then asked us if we were going to vote for Donald Trump or Kamala Harris. I told him that we don’t talk about politics when we work.” The female told officers she did not threaten him with a knife but while she was making dinner and had a knife in her hand, and she yelled at him because he became belligerent and began cursing at her. She then stated he was upset because she would not let him sleep in the bed with her. The events the parties described occurred about eight hours before officers were contacted. An officer asked the male what he wanted done for the night and he said he just wanted happiness.
