I have never witnessed anything so sexist and racist as the banners at the Bolstad beach approach on the 4th of July weekend that said “Joe and Ho Must Go.”

This is absolute disrespect of our nation’s vice president, being duly elected by the majority, and holding the office of senator and former attorney general of our most-populous state. She deserves respect.

Displaying support for your political candidate is an American tradition, but this vulgar banner shows ignorance and a total lack of patriotism.

Is this what our town is supposed to represent?

Did the city license this vendor to sell these banners?
