I’m writing in support of the new hospital/healthcare center because it’s time to step up to the real needs of our community, plus my very strong misconceptions have been proven wrong. These doubts were so strong, I would even travel to Aberdeen to go to the hospital there.

When I tripped and fell, hitting my head, a friend convinced me to go here because it could be really dangerous. Then I saw that the problems with lack of space made my care take longer. The staff stepped up and gave me excellent care. But how many times has it not been able to provide critical services because of space shortfalls? The money it will cost is well worth the rewards.

We are retirees on a fixed income. I was lucky this time that I didn’t have to be transported elsewhere. That could have been financially catastrophic. What about the next time for me, or my family and neighbors? Let’s step up and keep our money here.
