June 4 — An Ilwaco resident asked for officer contact regarding a salesman who pushed her into purchasing a vacuum on June 3. The officer called her back and she said she already called and complained to the company and they refunded her money and picked up the vacuum. The officer advised her in the future to just tell them she is not interested and close the door.

June 6 — Christopher L. Richards, 41, of St. Helens, Oregon, was cited for third-degree driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a required ignition interlock device after being stopped in Long Beach for a defective passenger side headlight.
Officers spoke to kids and their parents after a Long Beach resident reported four young kids were throwing rocks at cars and at his trailer, and knocking on his trailer door and then running away.
June 8 — A Long Beach Supermart employee reported a shoplifter who departed the store without paying for coffee beans. Subject is a white male with blonde hair, green jacket, American flag towel wrapped around his body and carrying a black grocery bag. An officer later confirmed the person’s identity. Store requested that he be issued a no-trespass notice.
