League honors four IHS softball players

Four Ilwaco softball players have been honored by the 2B Pacific League.
Named to the all-league second team were Megan Dille and Mikaila Warfield. Kaylee Anderson and Kaitlyn Banuet earned honorable mentions.
Four players from Raymond-South Bend were named to the first team. They were Emma Glazier, Kassie Koski, Ava Pine and Kyndal Koski. Teammates Ashlee Payne and Berklee Morley were named to the second team. Macey Enlow and Summer Stigall earned honorable mentions.
Eric Hopfer from Pe Ell/Willapa Valley was named coach of the year and had four players named to the first team. They were Lauren Emery, Lauren Matlock, Jillian Hodel and Karli Phelps. Teammates Kylee Lyons, Rilyn Channell, C.J. Sipp and Sophia Milanowski were named to the second team. Eliza Barnum and Tylar Keeton earned honorable mentions.
Jessie Gilbert of Ocosta was named the league’s most valuable player. North Beach earned the team sportsmanship award.
