May 20 — A resident on the 1400 block of Pacific Avenue North reported that someone put sand in her gas tank sometime in the previous three weeks. Unknown who did it.

Hospital staff reported a female yelling in the parking lot. An officer contacted her and she said her boyfriend just dropped her off there and requested a courtesy transport to an RV park. The officer observed blood on the sleeve of her sweater but she denied any physical altercation and said she had a nose bleed earlier.

llwaco City Hall personnel called LBPD to report a female screaming and acting disorderly across the street from city hall. Officers responded and observed a female subject yelling while standing on the southbound sidewalk. She was not wearing any shoes and had obvious signs of being under the influence of drugs. The Pacific County Jail declined to take her on active warrants. An officer provided a courtesy transport to Ocean Park.

May 22 — Ilya H. Galitsky, 38, of Ilwaco, was cited for first-degree criminal trespass after the owners of an Ilwaco business reported that Galitsky was inside their store.

May 23 — Holli N. Hickman, 39, was booked on two counts of third-degree assault after she allegedly assaulted a doctor and a nurse at Ocean Beach Hospital.

The manager of a business at the Port of Ilwaco brought in a counterfeit $100 that was accepted by his employee on May 18. The reporting party will go through security footage and attempt to identify a suspect and provide the footage to police if he is able to do so.

Kayla D. O’Shaughnessy, 24, of Long Beach, was arrested for DUI after an officer observed a red Jeep swerve over the center lane and travel at a high rate of speed.

May 24 — A resident came in to report that “he was contacted by another scammer claiming to be his grandson and needing money. He did not fall for it this time.”

May 26 — A caller reported an abandoned electric bicycle on the dunes near the walking trail from 5th Street NW. Officers collected the bicycle, which matched the description of a bicycle reported as stolen from the Seaview beach approach earlier in the day. An officer made arrangements to return it to its owner.

Officers responded to a report of an assault in the 200 block of 24th Street NE. Two parties reported they were assaulted by one another during an altercation over various items hanging from their shared fence. Both sustained minor injuries to their arms. A primary aggressor could not be determined, due to their conflicting statements and the lack of an impartial witness. Both parties agreed to remain separated for the remainder of the night and were advised to call 911 if the situation began to escalate again.

Marketplace
