OCEAN PARK — Ocean Park Food Bank supporters are cooking up some treats while raising funds.

A “dine-it-forward” fundraising dinner is planned at the Peninsula Senior Activities Center, 21603 O Lane, in Ocean Park. It will take place 6 p.m. April 24.

Admission is $30 for an Italian dinner. There will be live music and a live auction. Tickets are available at the Senior Center, the Bold gallery in Long Beach and at the Food Bank, 1601 Bay Ave. in Ocean Park.

A silent auction has begun at the Senior Center with multiple prizes.

The food bank is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. It expanded opening hours to better serve clients who are working. It is now open until 6 p.m. on Wednesdays.
